When I was in Bosnia and Herzegovina I went to the War Childhood Museum in Sarajevo. It featured many different things that people used or had during the war in the 90s. One of the “things” was a piece of metal tube from a playground in one of the local blocks, and the story was about a little boy who was playing with his friend outside when a bomb landed in front of them. One of them died.

Seeing little children playing outside is such a beatiful view when you know that they’re safe.
